WHAT IS CHINESE MEDICINE?
"Chinese medicine" is a term that refers to the combined practice of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, moxibustion, cupping, guasha, qigong and other lifestyle changes, and has been practiced in China for more than 3000 years. Practitioners first ask questions of their patients about their symptoms, and then use the above modalities to craft a series of holistic treatments that will restore whole body health.
WHAT IS SPORTS MEDICINE ACUPUNCTURE?
Sports medicine acupuncture is a type of acupuncture practice that uses the traditional principles of acupuncture points along with motor and trigger point locations. It's used for both acute or chronic pain conditions, sports-related or not, and begins with orthopedic testing to pinpoint exactly what structures are involved in the pain pattern.
