marie erickson, LMT

Marie was born and raised in Montana and studied Massage Therapy locally at Sacred Roots Massage School. After doing massage for several years in a variety of settings from therapeutic clinical  to spa, Marie decided to begin her training in bodywork for Prenatal and Postpartum women. While still helping clients to manage chronic pain and their needs for therapeutic bodywork, this new journey of study has ignited a passion in Marie to provide much needed support to women in all stages of the childbearing journey. She is thrilled to be doing massage at MamaSpace where she can continue to focus on the specific needs of mamas, while she expands her knowledge and skill sets to be able to serve women in a variety of ways. Marie is very intuitive in her work, has a slow, deep and intentional touch, and pays deep attention to all of the details. Her massage is truly a restorative experience.

Bekah o'brien, lmt & craniosacral therapist
bekahobrienmassage.com

After pursuing her passion for the human body and movement for over a decade through dance, Bekah had to find a way to bring others into their bodies, without the ballet shoes.  Dance taught her what it meant to turn off her active mind, and think with her body- to organize herself in a different way, with limbs and music and people all flying through space in a chaotic beauty. Though she didn't yet know how, she longed to share this knowledge. Her own journey through injuries, over-use conditions, scoliosis and childbirth has lead her to pursue bodywork for healing, and a better understanding of overall health and the importance of movement. She found the depth of bodywork to be endless, the results addicting, and the exploration of the human body mind-blowing. After completing a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance and Arts Administration from the University of Oregon, she continued her education at the Sage School of Massage in Bend, Oregon.  After having two babies of her own, she decided to specialize in working with mom's and infants. Bekah completed continuing education with Leslie Stager of "Mother Touch," in her advanced trainings in Bodywork for Women's Health, and with Carol Gray at the Carol Gray Center for Craniosacral Therapy Studies. Bekah had amazing personal experiences with bodywork through her pregnancies, birth recovery, and with her two infants. When Bekah moved to Montana in 2020 she was excited to open up a practice that focused specifically on mothers and their children after she realized first hand how much support is needed during the childbearing years. As the owner of MamaSpace Massage and part-owner of Ceretana Healing and Movement Arts, Bekah is thrilled that this vision of a space to serve mama's is finally coming to fruition.
