Brenda campbell                                 

Brenda is passionate about helping others achieve and maintain health and well-being through Ayurveda and Yoga practices. She is an educator in the science of SVAyurveda and studied directly with Vaidya Ramakant Mishra, a celebrated Ayurvedic author, teacher, and healer. She is also a certified sound therapist using the sounds and vibrations of Tibetan Singing Bowls.

Brenda has been certified in the art and science of Yoga since 2004, after beginning her studies in 1995. She practices and teaches in the tradition of the late Yogacharya B.K.S. Iyengar. She trained under B.K.S. Iyengar and Geeta Iyengar in the U.S. and India and continues to study with senior Iyengar instructors in the United States.

Ayurveda is a natural system of medicine originating in India 3000 years ago. "Ayurveda" means "Knowledge of Life," and works with imbalances and stresses in a persons consciousness. Ayurvedic Marma Therapy is an Indian healing method incorporating gentle touch of marma’s- powerful, energetic points on the body. A Marma Therapy Session can address different stresses and imbalances in the physiology on various levels: physical, emotional, mental, vibrational. Combined with herbal oils and the healing vibrations of Tibetan Singing Bowls, Brenda’s sessions will bring you into a deep grounding and restorative state. ​

iyengar yoga

Brenda will also be teaching several yoga classes at Ceretana Healing and Movement Arts, including Prenatal Yoga, Postnatal Yoga, and Iyengar Yoga. Iyengar Yoga aims to develop clear and continuous attention, bringing consciousness to each and every part of the body in order to explore the effect of the mind on the body and the body on the mind.
